First off, I am not an illustrator. But, sometimes I have to pretend.... The Colorado Symphony is always willing to push at the edges of the expected. For the 2022/23season they are exploring collaborations between pop musicians and the orchestra. The marketing team wanted to make the Classics concerts artwork look like art that may have been on a Red Rocks poster. I had to up my (adobe) Illustrator game, it was challenging, but fun. Nick Dobreff the Communications Director at the symphony and I worked closely on this project and we hope to catch attention of a younger, less classically inclined audience.
