I loved working on this book in collaboration with Dana Crawford and my husband, Paul Brokering (photographer), for the grand opening of the reactivated, renovated and repurposed Denver Union Station. Here is a sampling of the pages of the book which was given as a gift to opening night guests. The for-sale copies did so well that there was a 2nd edition which included additional photos of new activities at the station. I enjoyed being a sleuth—finding old images and obtaining rights to use them from the oddest of places and means. Also, notice Paul's image of the DUS looking down 17th. There are no buildings on the side, as in most other photos of the station. As an architectural photographer he set up his camera in 3 locations to shoot the building straight-on and then stitched the pics together. Love this image.
